A vastly improved version of the RoboForm for Microsoft Edge extension is now available in the Microsoft Store.

We are happy to announce that as of the latest extension version 8.4.7, RoboForm for Edge now fully integrates with RoboForm for Windows. This will allow Edge users to enjoy the full suite of RoboForm features already enjoyed by Windows users on Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera. Some of the new features available on Edge are:

  • The same user interface as our Chrome, Firefox, and Opera browser extensions
  • Start Page
  • Option for a Lower Toolbar (Upper Toolbars are not allowed in Edge)
  • Shared login session with other RoboForm for Windows extensions and the Editor

Previously, due to browser restrictions, Edge users had only been able to use RoboForm as a standalone extension, with the associated limitations in functionality.

The updated RoboForm for Edge extension currently requires a separate install via the Microsoft Store as well as the latest version 8.4.6 of RoboForm for Windows. Starting with the next release of RoboForm 8, however, the Edge extension will be included in the standard RoboForm for Windows installer.

For step-by-step instructions on installing the RoboForm Edge extension, consult our Online Help Center article. For instructions on how to enable the lower toolbar, see here.
